As a result of careful and deep evaluation of the leadership, as it was said on club’s website, Novara decided to dismiss Luciano Pedullà.

Serie A1 silver medalists replaced him with Marco Fenoglio, last season the assistant in German men’s team VfB Friedrichshafen, with whom he won national title and Cup.

In his coaching career, Fenoglio took trophy in Italian championship and Italian Cup with Foppapedretti Bergamo, in 2006, and in the CEV Champions League, one year later.

With a defeat against Polish PGE Atom Trefl Sopot, six days ago, Novara practically have zero chance to qualify for the playoffs in the Champions League while in Italian league they are third placed with 8-2 record.
