“We knew that we had to win the match if we wanted to keep our dream of a ticket to the Rio Olympics alive. If we did not we, we would be out of this tournament. I am really glad that we manage to put in a strong team effort in such an important match. We all came together, and I am glad that I had the chance to contribute to the win. We will play Poland in the last pool match. They are a very strong team, even though they have lost their two first matches. It will take a performance like the one today to beat them,” says Valentina Diouf.
