After the game, head coach of Lube Gianlorenzo Blengini and the top scorer of Perugia Aleksandar Atanasijević gave their impressions for the official website of Serie A.
Ginalorenzo Blengini: “It was a great test of character. We wanted to win at all costs, and we eventually achieved a victory that will allow us to enter the upcoming Italian Cup with the good atmosphere inside the team.”
Aleksandar Atanasijević: “In the second set we were leading 23:19 and had a great opportunity to double our lead. Unfortunately, we have wasted our chance, mostly because we had a lot of problems with Podraščanin’s service. I think that Lube are the best team in the league.”
