Despite playing without two very important players (Mitar Djurić and Filippo Lanza had to miss this game due to injury), Trentino had no problems in the Playoffs 12 rematch against Asse-Lennik. The Italian champions scored a straight sets win and qualified for the CEV Champions League Playoffs 6 round in which they will face Belogorie Belgorod.
The top scorer in the winning side was Gabriele Nelli who made 14 points, while Simon Van De Voorde added 12. On the other side, Robin Overbeeke collected 16 points for the visitors.
