ITA M: Big bang in Serie A1 – Lorenzetti new coach of Trentino!

 

Trentino‘s Board entrusted its roster for the season 2016/2017 to Angelo Lorenzetti, who signed the two-year contract with Serie A1 powerhouse.

Lorenzetti came to Trentino from national champions Modena Volley with the best possible credentials. He took four trophies in the past two seasons – one in Serie A1, two in Italian Cup and one in Italian Super Cup.

Next season will be his 15th in Italian top flight and he is the seventh coach in the history of Trentino (the fifth of Italian nationality after Bruno Bagnoli, Silvano Prandi, Andrea Burattini and Roberto Serniotti).

Recall that last season’s Trentino coach Radostin Stoytchev left the club after two consecutive seasons (eight overall).
