When Brazil won the gold at the Rio Olympics, Bernardo Rezende said in one interview for local media that Angelo Lorenzetti played perhaps the key role in that success! Recall that Lorenzetti has been the head coach of Modena in the recent years where he worked every day with Bruno Rezende, the starting setter of Brazil men’s national team.
“I want to say thanks to the key person in this victory – Angelo Lorenzetti. Bruno has grown so much in Modena, not just as a player. Angelo is definitely a special person for us,” said Bernardinho.
After those kind words, Angelo Lorenzetti responded in the same manner.
“I did not expect such a message from Bernardo. Obviously, I was very pleased when I read it, so I wrote him a short email to thank him for those kind words,” said Lorenzetti for gazzetta.it.
