Stokr vs. PIACENZA
In front of 600 spectators, Trentino showed superiority even without Lanza, Solé and Van de Voorde 3-1 (20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-20). Both teams are major candidates for the championship title in the upcoming season.
Newcomers were the best scorers on both sides. For the winning team, the Czech Jan Štokr collected 16 points. In Piacenza, Cuban Fernando Hernández scored 17 points.
