ITA M: No Ngapeth, no win! Atanasijevic in, Zaytsev out – Perugia victorious

Head coach Roberto Piazza decided to leave out Earvin Ngapeth and guess what happened? Monza beat them at PalaPanini in four sets 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-23).

Perugia have finally won after three-game losing streak! At the home court, they barely beat Molfetta in five-set thriller 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 15-12. Head coach of “Block Devils” Slobodan Kovac has decided to give Aleksandar Atanasijevic more space on court, which meant to leave Ivan Zaytsev on the bench. Italian star started the game as receiver, but after a few minutes, he went to the bench. He had some intestinal virus, that’s why he left the game. The Serbian bomber had a very good display, scoring 24 points!

Tsvetan Sokolov had magnificent display against Ravenna! Lube won the game to remain unbeaten 3-1 (25-27, 25-23, 25-16, 26-24) and Bulgarian star scored 29 points. Ravenna played without injured Lyneel. Maurice Torres was the top scorer in home team with 25 points.

Trentino also remained undefeated after conquering Verona, that played without injured Uros Kovacevic. Tine Urnaut was the top scorer with 13, while three more players had double digits – Nelli 11, Lanza 10 and Mazzone 10. On home side, Mitar Djuric scored 12 against his former team.
