Casalmaggiore vs. Bolzano
The Champions League title holders got the win in the 8th consecutive match in Serie A1, 6th in a row in all competitions in 2017.
Casalmaggiore defeated Südtirol Bolzano in the last game of Round 14 in straight sets, partially 25-11, 25-11, 25-14, to return to the top of the standings.
Croatian Samanta Fabris topped Casalmaggiore’s scorers with 20 points (4 aces), followed by Anastasia Guerra with 11.
By losing only 39 points in entire game against Bolzano, Casalmaggiore broke their own record in the highest straight-set win in Serie A1, in three and a half years as its members. Casalmaggiore set previous record on March 8, 2015, when they lost 41 points to Zeta System Urbino.
