The Game 2 of the quarterfinals series between Verona and Modena will be underway in less than an hour.

Verona – Modena

For several times in their history Verona have reached the quarterfinals stage of the Serie A1 Playoffs, but they have never managed to go any further. Still, this club now has a big chance to write a new page in its history. This evening in PalaSport Verona, the boys coached by Nikola Grbić will host the reigning Italian champions Modena and if they win this game Verona will advance to the semifinals.

Recall that in the 1st game Verona defeated Modena on the road by 3-1.

In front this match the home team has only one problem. They won’t be able to count on Luigi Randazzo who is recovering from knee injury.

On the other side, Modena are coming to Verona with full roster and with one and only goal – To make a re-break and to extend the series to Game 3. Modena head coach Lorenzo Tubertini has one dilemma in front of tonight’s game – Whether to put Santiago Orduna or Dragan Travica at the position of the starting setter.

The match starts at 20:30 CET.
