Modena – Verona
Probably the most interesting volleyball game this Sunday is the one in Italy, where Modena will host Verona in Game 3 of the Serie A1 quarterfinals. The score is 1-1, so the winner of today’s match will advance to the semifinals.
All the tickets for this match were sold out pretty quickly, so Modena will have a huge support from the stands.
“The match with Verona can change the season for us. If we win it, we will still be in the race in the two most important competitions – Serie A1 and CEV Champions League. The chances are 50-50. We lost the previous home game against Verona, but today we want to celebrate together with our fans,” said Modena middle blocker Kevin Le Roux.
On the other side, Verona crew have arrived to Modena with one and only goal – To score another away win in this series and to advance to the semifinals.
“If we stay relaxed and if we play like we have been doing in the last two months then we can win this match,” said Verona head coach Nikola Grbić.
The game starts at 18:15 CET.
