The reigning champions were trailing in this quarterfinal series 1-0, but in another two games they have managed to score two wins and to advance to the semis.
Modena have started this decisive game very well, winning the first two sets. In the third, Grbic’s side had an answer, making a huge lead at the beginning of the set. Home team couldn’t do anything except to surrender.
Fourth set was the last one in a game between these two teams. Modena played in a very good way and clinched the victory 3-1 (25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19.
Earvin Ngapeth was the best player of the game with 19 points, while Luca Vettori added 16. On the away side, Uroš Kovačević with 15 points.
