A 27-year-old opposite hitter posted a farewell on his Instagram profile, confirming recent rumors that he will depart from Piacenza at the end of the season. And, the end came, since the team from northern Italy has been eliminated from all competitions in 2016/2017.
“Thanks to all the fans of LPR Volley Piacenza for the effort and time dedicated to the team. ‘Lupi Biancorossi’ (Piacenza fan group), I will always be with you,” Hernández wrote.
The second best scorer of Serie A1 at the moment did not reveal the name of his new club, but it will likely be the Turkish Halkbank Ankara.
