It was the first game on the tournament in Sanremo, and Cannes won 3:0 (25:19, 25:24, 25:22) against Giaveno. Tarah Murrey was the best scorer in Bruno Napolitano‘s team. Brankica Mihajlovic was the best in Cannes with 22 points.
