The season 2017/2018 will the first season outside of Brazil for a 33-year-old middle blocker. Besides Rio Olympics gold medal, Éder was a two-time FIVB World Grand Prix winner with the Brazilian National Team. He arrived to Trentino from Funvic Taubaté and has chosen a jersey No.3 for the next season.
Thus, Trentino completed a third reinforcement for the next season after hiring Luca Vettori and tying Slovenian Jan Kozamernik.
