Cesarini
A 29-year-old Andrea Cesarini came back to Perugia after five seasons. Last time he has worn the jersey of Italian Men’s volleyball powerhouse was in 2011/2012 helping them to earn promotion to Serie A1.
In the 2016/2017 season, Cesarini played in Italian Division 2 team Emma Villas Siena.
Interestingly, upon returning to Perugia, Cesarini will again play with Ivan Zaytsev with whom he used to be a teammate in M. Roma Volley for two seasons (2009/10, and 2010/11).
Cesarini will backup Massimo Colaci, who is projected to be the first libero of Perugia next season.
