Last season he was a backup for Andrea Giovi, this season he will do the same for Nicola Pesaresi, but it seems he does not mind. Thomas Frigo, a 20-year-old libero, will spend his third season in a row in Verona.
In 2016/17 he played only 4 games for this Serie A1 club.
