Lube Civitanova
In the spotlight was Modena – Lube game at Palapanini hall! The home fans went home disappointed as their favorite team had to surrender after four sets 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-21).
Giampaolo Medei’s side had to make a comeback in this game and they managed to do it after losing the first set. Three players in Lube had good displays: Sokolov 19, Sander 18 and Juantorena 17. On the other side, Ngapeth ended the game with 19, while Sabbi added 17.
Verona have managed to surprise Trentino away, finishing the game in four sets 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 17-25, 25-22). Jaeschke led Grbic’s side with 15 points, Stern added 14 and Maar 13.
The pair of Trentino’s outside hitters Kovacevic-Lanza had 13 points each.
The only undefeated team after six rounds is Perugia. Even though Dusan Petkovic had an amazing performance in a jersey of Sora, scoring 32 points, his team had to surrender in front of his compatriot Aleksandar Atanasijevic (20 points) and Aaron Russell (11 points). Ivan Zaytsev didn’t get too much space on the court in this game. Berger took his place and scored 9 points…
Ravenna have improved their winning streak to four games! Padova couldn’t do anything after winning the first set…Poglajen (19 points), Bucheger (16) and Marechal (15) were the top scorers for the home team, while Randazzo had 15 on the other side…
