A 47-year-old Nešić recently offered a resignation to an Italian Division 2 side (Serie A2) Golden Tulip VolAlto Caserta but it was not accepted by the club’s officials so, he will resume being at their helm.

Nešić came to Caserta from the Romanian bronze medalists CSM Târgoviște. His name became famous in the volleyball world while he has been the head coach of the Bulgarian Women’s National Team for nearly a decade, with whom he won the bronze medal in the 2007 CEV European Championship. On a club level, he became the 2009 CEV Challenge Cup gold medalist with an Italian club Pieralisi Volley Pan Jesi.

Caserta are settled at the penultimate place in the Serie A2 with a 2-4 record.
