The Italian Women’s Volleyball Serie A1 newcomers Legnano complied with the decision of their opposite Annie Drews to devote herself more to playing the international season with the U.S. National Team.
“After consulting with the staff of her national team, the American athlete has chosen to end her experience in the Italian championship on to plan a different path to approach the next international competitions,” Legnano explained terminating the contract by mutual agreement with a 23-year-old Purdue University graduate Drews who came to the club this summer.
The athlete will return home in the coming days.
