The meeting
Italy will host the FIVB’s premier women’s volleyball event four years after the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship was successfully staged in 2010.
President Graça met with Italy Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) president Carlo Magri to discuss preparations and also took the opportunity to visit the venue of the FIVB SWATCH Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slam in Rome – the Foro Italico.
At the same time, President Graça visited the Italy Olympic Committee (CONI) where he was welcomed by CONI President Giovanni Petrucci and general secretary Raffaele Pagnozzi.
