The top-seed Sir Safety Conad Perugia won a decisive Game 3 of the playoff quarterfinals against No.8 Bunge Ravenna to advance to the 2017/18 SuperLega semifinals, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-23).
Ravenna missed a big opportunity to extend the match to four sets as their four-point lead (16-12) in the third set melted down.
The Serbian opposite Aleksandar Atanasijević topped Perugia with 20 points. Simone Anzani made 4 kill blocks, while Ivan Zaytsev recorded 77% reception (13 digs, 15% perfect). The Frenchman Nicolas Maréchal scored 12 points for Ravenna.
