Osaka Bluteon and Suntory Sunbirds Osaka continued their dominance in Japan’s SV.League, adding two more wins each to stay ahead in the standings.

The third week of Japan’s Daido Life SV.League delivered another mix of thrilling volleyball, with Osaka Bluteon and Suntory Sunbirds Osaka strengthening their grip on the top spots. The defending champions Suntory Sunbirds claimed two victories over Wolfdogs Nagoya, both by 3-1 scores. On Saturday, they fought back after losing the first set to win 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22), led by Dmitriy Muserskiy’s 25-point performance. On Sunday, the Sunbirds repeated the result (25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 25-20), with Muserskiy and Nagoya’s Taito Mizumachi each scoring 18 points.

The series between Hiroshima Thunders and JTEKT Stings Aichi ended evenly. Hiroshima took Saturday’s match 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 29-27, 25-21), thanks to Felipe Roque’s 23 points, but Aichi hit back on Sunday with a 3-1 win (25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 25-16), led by Stephen Boyer’s 22 points.
In Hokkaido, Voreas swept Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-16) behind Mart Tammearu’s 20-point effort. Sakai responded on Sunday with a 3-1 win (21-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-13), powered by Ulrik Dahl and Tommaso Rinaldi, who each scored 18.
