The women’s Daido Life SV.League saw an unusual wave of upsets on Saturday before most top teams steadied themselves with strong wins on Sunday.

PFU BlueCats shocked league leaders NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki with a 3-1 win, driven by Melissa Valdes’ 24 points. NEC quickly responded the next day, sweeping PFU 3-0 to stay firmly on top at 11-1.
Defending champions Osaka Marvelous also stumbled, losing to Queenseis Kariya as Danielle Cuttino delivered 32 points. Osaka bounced back on Sunday with a 3-1 victory led by Mizuki Tanaka and Lise Van Hecke.
Kurobe Aqua Fairies and Denso Airybees Koriyama followed a similar pattern — surprising losses on Saturday, then convincing Sunday rebounds powered by Lena Stigrot for Kurobe and Rosamaria Montibeller for Denso.
Victorina Himeji and Hisamitsu Springs stayed consistent, taking straight-set wins on both days to keep pressure on NEC.
Gunma Green Wings secured two clean victories over Aranmare Yamagata, who remain at the bottom.
