Osaka Marvelous and Saga Hisamitsu Springs exchanged wins in a headline double-header as the women’s Daido Life SV.League continued its push toward the playoff stretch.

Osaka opened with a four-set home win Saturday, but Saga Hisamitsu Springs responded with a five-set victory to remain second in the standings. Osaka Marvelous stayed third.
Victorina Himeji climbed into fourth after two straight-set wins over Astemo Rivale Ibaraki. Leaders NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki strengthened their hold on first with two road victories against Toray Arrows Shiga.
Elsewhere, Gunma Green Wings split their series with Queenseis Kariya, while Denso Airybees and Kurobe Aqua Fairies also traded wins. Saitama Ageo Medics swept two matches from Aranmare Yamagata, and PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku won twice at Okayama Seagulls.
