Gunma Green Wings clinched a playoff berth in Japan’s women’s Daido Life SV.League, while the race for the eighth and final spot remains unresolved ahead of the last round.
Gunma swept Aranmare Yamagata twice (3–0, 3–0) to improve to 24–18 (70 points) and lock in seventh place. Olivia Różański led scoring in both matches. Aranmare fell to 3–39, last in the standings.
Saitama Ageo Medics and Denso Airybees Koriyama split wins, keeping the playoff race alive. Ageo won 3–2 on Saturday, but Denso answered with a 3–0 victory Sunday. Ageo hold eighth place (22–20, 60), with Denso ninth (21–21, 65).
