The Top 6 of the Japanese Women’s Volleyball Championship, V-League, is a good chance for all teams to start from scratch. Reigning champions Hisamitsu Springs embraced this opportunity with both hands.

Hisamitsu, who struggled a lot in the finish of the Regular Season, losing several games in a row before getting out of crisis, did not shine against Toyota Queenseis 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 27-25, 18-16) in Round 1 of Top 6. And how could they shine when they had Polina Rahimova on the other side. Azerbaijani bomber poured 41 points today. Miyu Nagaoka scored 26 for Hisamitsu.

Toray Arrows and NEC Red Rockets were also successful at the Top 6 opening, prevailing over JT Marvelous and Hitachi Rivale, respectively.
