Risa Shinnabe was the most efficient player in the winning team with 24 points. Hisae Watanabe collected 22 for Hitachi.
Toyota Queenseis recover from opening defeat to prevail over JT Marvelous in straight sets thanks to 20 from Azerbaijani Polina Rahimova. Mizuki Tanaka scored 14 for the newcomers.
