Japan men’s V.League: Edgar crashes Panthers’ invincibility, Omrčen nails Sunbirds to the bottom

JT Thunders crashed the invincibility of Panasonic Panthers and remained the only undefeated side in the Top 6 of the V.League, 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 25-19, 25-23). The Australian Thomas Edgar scored 37 points (5 kill blocks) for the winning side, while the Pole Michał Kubiak scored 14 points for the Panthers.

Thanks to 26 points (4 aces) from the Croatian Igor Omrčen, Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza outplayed Suntory Sunbirds in four sets to stay the second-placed. The Cuban Yadrian Escobar scored 14 points for the Sunbirds, who are still winless.
