KOR M: Korean Air Jumbos Defeat Hyundai Skywalkers in First Game of Korean V-League Playoff Final Series

The Incheon Korean Air Jumbos, the defending champions of the Korean V-League, secured a 3-1 (20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-17) victory over Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in the first game of the playoff final series.

The match started with the Skywalkers taking control in the first set, winning 25-20. However, the Jumbos fought back hard, winning the next three sets 25-23, 25-23, and 25-17 to seal the victory.

With 28 points and a 46% attack rate, Lincoln Williams from the Jumbos emerged as the leading scorer of the match. For the Skywalkers, Su-Bong Heo shone as their most productive player with 24 points and a 50% attack rate. Although Oreol Camejo contributed 16 points, his attack success rate remained modest at 40%.

The Jumbos victory in the first game of the series gives them a significant advantage going into the second game, which is scheduled for April 1st. The final series is played in a best-of-five format, meaning that the first team to win three games will be crowned champions.
