One of title favorites in V-League noted their third defeat in as many matches. The latest came from Kepco Vixtorm at home after a thriller 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-12).
Even 34 points from the Dutch Thijs Ter Horst were not enough for the Bluefangs. Jeon Kwang-In had 27 for Vixtorm who now have 2-1 score in V-League.
Bergsma (Daejeon) & Hartong (Hyundai)
Women’s champions Hyundai can be satisfied with season opening. They suffered one loss but achieved two victories. In the third round, Hyundai downed KGC Daejeon on road 3-1 (29-31, 25-20, 29-27, 25-19).
Hwang Youn-Joo topped reigning V-League champions with 25 points. American Alaina Bergsma had an amazing performance in Daejeon with 36 points (!) but her team is at the bottom of the standings with 0-3 record.
