KGC-Daejeon
After a poor start of the 2017/18 Regular Season campaign in the V-League, which consisted of two defeats, KGC Daejeon made a three-game run as they made two comebacks in the game against the defending champions Hwaseong Industrial Bank of Korea Altos.
A 27-year-old American opposite Alaina Bergsma increased the lead in the V-League scoring list after pouring 37 points, including 5 kill blocks, in KGC Daejeon’s victory. Her compatriot Madison Kingdon Rishel scored 30 points for the IBK Altos.
Both sides have a 3-2 record in the tournament.
