KOR W: Even 45 points from Diouck didn’t help GS Caltex as huge blocking display from Nešović extinguishes all their hopes!

Caltex-vs-Hipass

Caltex-vs-Hipass

When one player scores 40 or more points, it’s nearly impossible that her or his team loses a game but that’s what happened to GS Caltex Seoul Kixx against Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-pass in today’s V-League encounter. The Senegalese national team captain Fatou Diouck delivered 45 points for the last-placed GS Caltex but the visiting side Hi-pass, for which Serbian Ivana Nešović made 35 points (7 kill blocks), prevailed by a 3-2 (22-25, 25-19, 27-29, 32-20, 15-9)!

By beating Suwon Korea Electric Power Corporation Vixtorm 3-1, the defending champions Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers extended their winning streak in the men’s tournament to 5 games. Moon Sung-Min tallied 20 points for the winning side, while Shin Yung-Suk contributed with 4 kill blocks. The Brazilian opposite Felipe Banderó scored 26 for Vixtorm.
