Dominican girls
The Dominican Republic will be seeking for a fourth consecutive crown and they will be in Pool B along with Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia. In Poll A are the hosts Peru, Guatemala, Chile and Cuba.
The pool winners will advance directly to the semifinals while the second and third placed teams will meet in crossed matches in the quarterfinals on August 17.
Yonkaira Paola Peña Isabel was selected as the MVP in the inaugural event in 2012 while Brayelin Elizabeth Martinez has earned the honors in the last two events held in 2014 and 2016.
