As the reigning champions, all eyes will be on Cuba, following their triumph in the last edition of the cup. Mexico holds the title for the inaugural championship in 2021. Canada and the United States, on the other hand, are no strangers to the pressure, having secured the second position in both previous editions.

The competition format includes a round-robin preliminary round that spans from September 19 to 23. The climax will see the top two teams clashing for the coveted gold medal on September 24. On the same day, the teams ranked third and fourth will battle for bronze, while the fifth and sixth will determine the final two placements.
