In a thrilling final, the Dominican Republic emerged victorious against the United States, winning the gold medal in the NORCECA Women Final Six Pan American Cup. The match, held at the “Ricardo Arias” National Volleyball Pavilion in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, extended to five sets, concluding with a score of 3-2 (25-15, 17-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-11).

Alondra Tapia contributed 13 points, while Bethania De La Cruz and Jineiry Martínez each added 11. For the United States, Merritt Beason scored 15 points, with Sarah Franklin and Khori Louis adding 11 each.

Mexico Secures Bronze Against Puerto Rico

Mexico clinched the bronze medal by defeating Puerto Rico 3-1 (26-24, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21). Karina Flores was the top scorer for Mexico with 18 points, followed by Sofía Maldonado with 16 and Uxue Guereca with 11. Grace López was the standout for Puerto Rico, scoring 29 points, with Paola Santiago and Stephanie Rivera adding 10 and 9 points respectively.
