The head coach that led the Dutch girls to the fourth place at the FIVB World Championship 2018, has agreed with the Netherlands Volleyball Federation and he will try to qualify for the Olympic Games.

I’m extremely thrilled to continue the journey with this team until the 2020 Olympics. We have an amazing group of women that are capable of great things. This last World Championship was just the beginning and it is an incredible honor to continue to lead them,” says Jamie Morrison.

We are very pleased the federation extended the contract with Jamie. With his vision, last two years we played for medals at major tournaments like the European and World Championships. Now, our focus is completely on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Under Jamie’s guidance, we are looking forward to this with great confidence,” says Netherlands captain Maret Balkestein-Grothues.
