ARG M: Bartman wasn’t afraid of Gigantes – UPCN claim last remained spot for semis

UPCN San Juan Voley Club became the last club to secure their place in the semifinals of the 2018/19 Argentine Men’s Volleyball League.



The titleholders and also third seed achieved their third consecutive victory against No.6 Gigantes del Sur to close the series of the 2018/19 Liga de Vóleibol Argentina playoff quarterfinals by a 3-1.

Led by Pole Zbigniew Bartman, who notched 24 points, UPCN prevailed over home side in five sets, partially 25-18, 18-25, 25-19, 23-25 and 15-6. Cuban Miguel Gutiérrez top-scored for Gigantes.
