For the third time in a row, Shakhtyor Soligorsk became the champions of Belarus. The team that claimed the No.2 seed for the playoffs won the series of the Division A 2018/2019 Men finals against the top seed Stroitel Minsk, who remained the most-titled team in the country with seven championship trophies, by a 3-1.
Shakhtyor beat Stroitel in Game 4 of the finals in four sets, partially 23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-21, in front of own crowd. Vladimir Zhigmont top-scored for the new Belarus champions with 25 points while Artem Kudryashov noted 19 points for Stroitel. It is worth mentioning that Stroitel played a decisive match without two starters, Ilya Burov and Vladislav Davyskiba who got injured in Game 3 which Shakhtyor won in the tie-break, and itsignificantly weakened their chances in Game 4.
