The 2016 Rio Olympics winner Wallace revealed in a live video on the Under Armour profile on Instagram that he’ll play abroad next season. The 32-year-old opposite hitter received a proposal from Turkey’s Spor Toto but he prefers to continue his career in Japan.
“Brazilian clubs already have their rosters defined and I believe that my future will be abroad. I have the dream of living in Japan and playing volleyball there,” said the Rio Olympics Best Opposite Spiker who has spent his entire professional career in his home country, of which the last two seasons in Sesc-RJ. However, the team from Rio de Janeiro ceased to exist.
It’s yet unknown for which club in Japan will Wallace compete next season.
