According to Varzesh3, Seyed Mousavi and Amir Ghafour, who have been considered stars of the Iran National Team in the recent few years, arrived at Saipa.

The middle blocker and the opposite hitter reached an agreement with the club that finished second in the last season of the Super League. The same source stressed that both players decided to return to play in their home country due to the economic situation that hit European leagues and clubs. Mousavi came from Poland’s Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, while Ghafour spent the last season in Italy’s Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Prior to these two, Saipa hired two more Iran Men members: the libero Mohammadreza Moazzen (Paykan Tehran) and middle blocker Ali Shafiei (Shahrdari Urmia).

Saipa will also have the new head coach, Mostafa Karkhaneh. The last club which he commanded was Sarmayeh Bank (2016/17).
