The leaders of the 2020/21 Romanian Championship, CSM Târgovişte, announced the appointment of the new head coach. They will be commanded at the finish of the season by famous Italian expert Giovanni Caprara, the ex-head coach of 4 women’s national teams (Russia, Greece, the Netherlands, and Azerbaijan). He’ll command Târgovişte until the end of the season, coming in place of Serbian Dragan Nešić.
Caprara (world champion with the Russia Women’s National Team in 2006, 4-time CEV Champions League winner, one-time FIVB Club World Championship winner, one-time CEV Cup winner, 4-time Italian Championship winner, one-time Turkish Championship winner, 3-time Italian Cup winner, and 5-time Italian Super Cup winner) was without a job after parting ways with Italian women’s club Il Bisonte at the end of the last season and Dutch Women’s National Team last spring.
