Peter Mlynarčík stood out for the new titleholders in the last game of the season with 19 points, including 4 aces, while Matej Kubš made 91 % reception (11 digs, 55 % excellent).

By claiming the championship, Komárno achieved the greatest success in club history, doing it as the 4th-seed in the playoffs. So far, they triumphed in the Slovak Cup once, in 2015. Entering the finals was the best-ever result of Myjava, who are a part of the country’s top flight for 16 seasons.
