The CAVB mentioned in its official declaration that the change of dates of the competition, which will be held in Libya and acts as a qualifier to the FIVB Club World Championship, from April 3 to 11, 2013 to April 19 to 27 is to guarantee good organization and good technical circumstances for the tournament.

The CAVB has asked the Libya Volleyball Federation to arrange for two more halls, in addition to the two already in place, to host the increased number of matches.

Zamalek of Egypt are the defending men’s champions having won last year’s title in Tunisia.
