Sakai Blazers is the new champion of Japan. In final match it defeated last year champions Panasonic Panthers 3:1. Kunihiro Shimizu (Panasonic) didn`t play in the final because of injury. Sakai had 15 blocks, Panasonic 7 and the best blocker was Kazuyoshi Yokota from Sakai with 7 blocks.

Toray Arrows was better than Suntory Sunbirds in the match for 3rd place. In this match Toray had only 3 hitting errors and 14 blocks compared to 9 errors and 7 blocks for Suntory.
