NORCECA W: U.S. Virgin Islands join El Salvador in the third round

Hosts U.S. Virgin Islands scored a 3:0 over British Virgin Islands to advance to the third round of NORCECA qualifiers towards the 2014 FIVB Women’s World Championship. Danielle Selkridge and Valissa Brathwaite were the top scorers.

The winners will play against El Salvador on Sunday evening for the top place at the Second Round Group K and a better seeding in next year’s round of tournaments.

Danielle Selkridge led U.S. Virgin Islands with 18 points, including six blocks and five aces, while Valissa Brathwaite added 13.
