“We change tactics and players match by match, so our players will not be too exhausted . We also want everybody in our team to be involved with every matches in this tournament. We succeeded today to put a pressure upon the Egyptians”
Jelena Vignjević, Captain of Serbia:
“Egypt fought great today. Despite some unforced mistakes, I think we played better than yesterday. The most important thing to us is the victory.”
Badrawy Hesham, Coach of Egypt:
“It is obvious that Serbia had a better performance, and we were exhausted as we played many matches before we got here. We had 5 players who participated in the Women U20 last month and maybe they will be inform by the second round of the competition. I think we should save our players’ energy in order to compete effectively in the next two matches.”
Heidi Kandiel, Captain of Egypt:
“We are tired. That’s why we didn’t play well today. Also, we don’t have much experience, so I think we have to try very hard in order to win the match in the world-class-tournament like this”
