Even though German squad didn’t needed to win the game in Greece, Buhl played out strong until the end of the game which they’ve eventually won by 2-3. In the other rematch, Maliye Mili Piyango had to win at home verus Gabrovo to secure the semifinals and the Turks did it with the help of their best two players Gjorgiev and Popp who had 20 and 19 points respectively.
