Tunisia flew past struggling Congo team in the fifth and last day of the qualifier to raise their win- loss ratio to 4-0, while Congo dropped to 3-1 and finish the 5 national round robin tournaments in the second position.
Seychelles came from behind in each of the three sets to clinch a straight sets victory over Niger (28-26, 25-19, 26-24) to clinch the third position with 2-2 record while Niger finished in the fourth position with 1-3. Senegal who finished their matches in day 4 finished at the bottom of the table with 0-4.
Now Tunisia completed the 3 African teams at 2014 Men’s World Championship in Poland in August 30 to September 21 after Egypt clinched Pool U ticket in Kenya and Cameroon booked Pool T in Cameroon.
