KOR M: This guy is just amazing – Keita pours in 56 to become world’s 4th-best single-game top scorer

Noumory Keita’s 56-point explosion against Ansan OK Financial Group OKman, 2 days ago, led the Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars to secure the 2nd-seed for the playoffs of the South Korean Men’s Volleyball Championship for the first time in the club’s history.

The KB Stars secured 2nd place in the regular season of the 2021/22 men’s Dodram V-League for the first time in the club’s history and assured participation in the post-season. The Uijeongbu side defeated OKman with a score of 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 32-34, 32-30) in the 33rd round, and with 3 games remaining prior to the playoffs, it broke away from the pursuit of the 3rd-placed Seoul Woori Card WooriWON, having 8 points more and remaining in contention for No. 1 held by the Incheon Korean Air Jumbos (2 points more).

Keita, who 6 days ago tied his own V-League single-game scoring record, poured in 56 points against OKman, his highest score now, claiming the 4th place in the world’s list of the best men’s scorers in a single match.
